Frequently Asked Questions
Why did my memory go to the wrong echo?
Sonar uses on-device AI to route your memories, but it's not perfect. Tap the echo chip on the confirm banner right after recording to change it. Orca learns from your corrections over time.
My reminder didn't fire — what happened?
Make sure notifications are enabled for Orca in iOS Settings → Notifications → Orca. Also check that the date and time were detected correctly — look for the date chip on the confirm banner after recording.
How do I delete a memory?
Swipe left on any memory in the Home or Browse All view to reveal the delete option. You can also open a memory and tap the edit button to delete it.
Is my data private?
Yes. Voice processing happens entirely on your device — audio is never sent to our servers. Your memories are encrypted at rest and in transit. We never sell your data. Read our full
Privacy Policy for details.
How do I add a sports team or stock ticker?
Just mention the team or ticker by voice — "Ravens game Sunday" or "alert me when AAPL drops below 180" — and Orca will automatically track it and show live scores and prices.
Can I use Orca offline?
Yes — voice capture, browsing, and local reminders all work offline. Cloud sync and live sports/finance data require an internet connection.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Orca and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the billing period.
Something is broken — how do I report a bug?
Email us at
support@orcadrop.app with a description of what happened and your device model. Screenshots or screen recordings are super helpful. We fix bugs fast.
